One of the reasons I love my sister.

So, my sister (andkatie.blogspot.com) went on holiday to New York over this past New Year (yes, I'm ridiculously jealous but I won't go into that!) and because she's reasonably lovely she brought me back these treats. I wanted to try some products that weren't available here in the UK so this was a brilliant surprise for me when she got back.

I'm a huge fan of Benefit products so was incredibly happy with this! It's a mini kit that contains a gorgeous coral / pink blusher, along with the popular Sun Beam highlighter. The packaging, as with all Benefit products, is lovely, and as the products tend to be fairly expensive it's great being able to sample the smaller versions of them before committing to the full size.

These two products are both great for easy contouring, especially if you're like me and the whole contouring idea is slightly new and terrifying! I'm loving brown shades of eyeshadow recently so this Wet n Wild eyeshadow set is perfect. The Cover Girl blusher has quickly become my new favourite, with different shades for highlighting and blush. I'm pretty upset that it isn't readily available over here!

Fun things! My sister says this gum reminded her of the 3 course meal gum in Willy Wonka, so she had to buy it. The Candy Cane Bliss is an antibacterial handwash that smells DIVINE and is perfect for sticking in your handbag.

And finally, here is one of the few foundations that is actually pale enough for my skin. My sister bought herself one and after using it and realising how perfectly it matched her skin, she went back and got one for me too (being identical twins, we have the same skin tone and both really struggle with foundation, so I really appreciate her bringing me some back!). It's a VERY high pigment foundation (advertised as being able to even cover tattoos!) and so provides really great coverage. I don't want to use mine too quickly so have been mixing it with tinted moisturiser for a daytime look - I'm dreading the day it runs out and I once again have to go hunting for a light enough foundation for my ridiculously pale skin.

The only problem with these lovely presents is when I run out I probably won't be able to get more unless I, or somebody close to me, goes back to America. But all in all this is one very happy sister - thank you Katie! x
